So, this ripe banana recipe is the most delicious snack I have had in recent time. When I was making it, of course I was expecting something yummy. However, I was surprised by how much delicious this snack came out.

It was full of banana flavour, the taste is rich and have a great mouth feel. Also, there was no dryness to it at all, I believe I, am going to make this more often going forward.

For the reason that when I offered some of this snack to my toddler who refused to eat anything earlier on, he finished everything. More in particular, we both love the combination of this yumminess with the fruits.

I made this snack with one mashed banana. It is important to make use of a very ripe banana that has started to develop dark spots on it. See the image of what I am Talking about below. The more brown spots you see on the banana the sweeter they become, and because I am looking forward to a delicious snack, I waited to ensure that my last banana at home is as ripe as required.

So, after I have mashed the peeled banana pretty well with a fork, I set it aside. Then I went ahead to crack the egg open and beat it for about a minute. Once I was done with that, I had to add the milk, sugar and vegetable oil into the egg.

Did I tell you that the vegetable oil in this recipe is liquid gold? I said so because, it was the vegetable oil that gave the snack an awesome luxurious texture and help keep the banana flavour lingering in the mouth. I strongly recommend you do well not to skip the oil when you are making this snack and you are going to thank me for it.

Once I have all those in, I mix them well, then add flour and baking powder and then mix them until they are all well combined. After that, I grease the grill plate of my toaster with butter, pour the batter in it and cook for 9 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other side.

  • 3 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 medium size egg
  • 3 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 3 tablespoon of fresh milk milk

  • After that, cover the toaster and cook it for 8 minutes to 10 minutes. Then, flip it to the other side and cook it again for about 4 to 5 minutes. Now bring it out and serve with any fruit of choice
