For that reason, I have decided to to show you that yes you can eat eggs with potatoes. Even more, I am going to walk you through to the easiest and quickest approach to making a yummy potatoes and egg dish.
First of all, potatoes are nutrients dense food. Furthermore, they are very easy to find and quite affordable to purchase. In other hand, eggs are food that are also well packed with nutrients. Because they are easily found and purchased at a very low price, we have nothing to worry about in terms of cost.
So, here is how to make eggs and potatoes. But before I proceed, i will like to let you know that I used two different types of potatoes for this recipe. Because I understand that sweet potatoes and Irish potatoes have different type of nutrients. I believe combining the two types of potatoes will help me gain advantage of the nutrients in both.
However, you may use any type of potatoes you like if you do not like to combine it. So lets get started
How To make Potatoes And eggs For Breakfast
The easiest and tastiest way to make potatoes and eggs for breakfast
- 2 big sizes Irish potatoes
- 1 big size Sweet potatoes
- 4 medium sizes Free range eggs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 small piece fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1 medium size onion
- 1 cube seasoning cube
- 4 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pieces sausage (optional )
- 1 big size fresh tomatoes
- 2 pieces green onion
- 1 pieces scotch bonnet pepper
Peel the potatoes (both the sweet and Irish potatoes)
Cut them into slim round sizes or any size and shape of your choice
Wash Them and seasoning them with salt and pepper
Fry them in a hot oil for 5 to 7 minutes or till they are cooked and a bit crisp
After that, take them out of the frying oil and set them aside in a sieve
Egg Sauce Preparation Procedure
first slice the onion into small pieces, crush the garlic and ginger and set them aside
Cut the sausages in smaller sizes, make them not to slim and not too big
Put the vegetable oil in a sauce pan, heat it up for 15 to 20 seconds
Put the sliced onion, garlic and ginger, and green onions. After that, fry it for 30 to 55 seconds
Put the sliced sausages and slice tomatoes
Fry for 1 to 2 minutes, add seasoning cube and salt, stir it at interval so it does not get burned
Quickly chop the scorch bonnet pepper and drop it into the sauce pan
Add the green peas, stir it. while it is still cooking
Break 4 raw eggs into the sauce pan
Stir and cook it for about 1 minute and the egg scramble sauce is ready
Serve the potatoes and eggs side by side
Feel free to swap in and out of any of the ingredients, You can decide to bring in broccoli or spinach. Also, the sausage is not essential for this recipe, skip that if you do not want it in the sauce.
